RRB JE Recruitment Notification 2024 Out [7900+ Vacancies]

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligibile candidates for Junior Engineer (Safety & Non-Safety), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical Supervisor & Metallurgical Supervisor Posts on a regular basis. There are 7911 no. of vacancies opened for the mentioned positions.

As mentioned in the official notification of RRB the age limit for the mentioned posts is between 18 to 33 years years (age relaxation as per rules). Candidates selected for the stated positions will be paid in a Pay Scale of Level 6th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 44,900/- to Rs. 35,400/- plus other allowances as admissible. The selection of applicants will be based on Written Tests (CBT 1 & CBT 2), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates must possess a Graduation/Diploma in a relevant field.

Interested candidates who meet the requirements as mentioned in the notification can apply online through the official website of RRB before the last date i.e., 29th Aug 2024. Applicants who are not exempted have to pay an application fee of between Rs. 250/- to Rs. 500/-. RRB JE 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for RRB JE 2024 for CBT 1 and CBT 2 Exam as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is as follows-

• There shall be a negative marking of ⅓ marks for incorrect answers in CBTs.
• The duration of the CBT 1 Exam is 90 minutes and for CBT 2 Exam is 120 minutes.
• In CBT 1, there will be 100 questions and in CBT 2 there will be 150 questions.
• The types of questions in Computer Based Test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
