GMC Srinagar Recruitment 2024: Govt Medical College Srinagar has invited applications in the prescribed format from eligible candidates belonging to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir for the engagement of Faculty posts on an academic arrangement basis. This recruitment is being conducted to fill up the vacancies of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor positions in various departments.
This appointment is initially for a period of one year extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made on a regular basis in accordance with rules of recruitment governing the respective posts, by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier.

The eligibility conditions/criteria for selection of the suitable candidates shall be as under:-

As per Govt. Order No. 49- JK(HME) of 2021 Dated. 19-01-2021 & Govt. Order No. 448- JK(HME) of 2021 Dated.17-06-2021.
Age Limit
The maximum age of the applicant at the time of submission of the application must not be or more than 67 years.
Selection Criteria
As per Criteria prescribed under Govt. Order No. 282- JK(HME) of 2023 Dated. 04-04-2023 read with corrigendum Dated. 06-04-2023.
